University of Waterloo - Huntsville Campus
More fall colours in Muskoka. The University of Waterloo has a campus in Huntsville, and though I don't think it has been used for any schooling in the few years it has been here, it is quite a beautiful building. I love how this picture sends your eyes in circles between the shadow, building and trees.

Fall Sky
Colours are always beautiful in Muskoka in late September and early October. If you're coming to visit, come the weekend before Canadian Thanksgiving for the best colours. The sky, barn and open field caught my attention in this scene (not to mention the beautiful forest backdrop) and I pulled to the shoulder of the gravel road to snap a quick picture.

Pink Sky
Taken in the spring sometime. Beautiful sunset on Mary Lake. Most of our sunsets are reds and oranges, so a pink sky caught my attention...and my camera's.

The Small Things
While waiting for some of my campers at the Clay Pits of Camp Mini-Yo-We, I thought I would kill some time taking pictures of the nearby flowers. This one stood out above the rest. It is about the size of my thumbnail, but sometimes beauty comes in the small things of life.

A Glimpse of Gorgeous

Walking to school again and I couldn't help but notice the beautiful trees ahead of me. The puddles were gross and muddy and I had been dodging them for my whole walk...thankfully I could see this one in a slightly different mindset.
Two Colours of Fall

Again, a cold fall morning, frost the night before. I was in pants and a t-shirt and the indoors with a nice fire was so warm...but I could see this leaf from across the field, and it tempted me out of the comfortable Chemawa Lodge. If you ever have a similar opportunity I advise putting on a sweater at least - it took me the better part of the morning to warm back up again.
Azure Communications

Communication. Our world depends on it, and rightfully so. Communication is probably the most important aspect of life. Let us not forget that telephones and internet are not the only means of communication though. Snail mail is the most exciting form of communication, and prayer the most necessary.
Drops of Grace

Rain is can make the world a beautiful place. This was the morning after a miserable, lock-yourself-inside kind of day - it was worth the miserable day just so this morning would come. The title of the picture comes from a poem I wrote - http://abreathoftime.blogspot.com/2008/11/grace-like-rain.html
